Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Champion

If your organisation leads by example in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, then this is the award for you. This award recognises the association, institute, or society, that goes above and beyond in fostering a culture of belonging and making a positive impact.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Commitment: Detail your organisation’s mission and values related to DE&I, cultural integration, and implemented DE&I policies. Show how these elements are integrated into your strategy.
• Impact & Outcomes: Share specific, quantifiable impacts and success stories resulting from your DE&I efforts. Provide evidence of increased diversity and inclusion.
• Innovative Practices: Explain unique DE&I initiatives and how they differ from conventional methods. Describe successful collaborations with external organisations.
• Engagement & Representation: Detail how you engage members and stakeholders in DE&I, emphasising underrepresented group participation in decision-making roles.
• Education & Training: Highlight DE&I training programmes and their effectiveness. Include testimonials from beneficiaries and explain how you assess the success of educational efforts.
• Sustainability & Future Plans: Describe your long-term DE&I commitment, future goals, and strategies. Show how your organisation plans to sustain and expand DE&I efforts, adapting to changing needs with feedback mechanisms.
