If your association, institute, or society, organised an exceptional event over the past 18 months, then you will want to win this award. The judges will want to see hard evidence of the scope of the event with emphasis on any unique aspects that may pertain. Submissions should be backed up by photos, laying out any additional info or supporting media in a clear manner. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Event Information: Introduce your event and provide key information, e.g.,; its date, location, duration, event size; the history of the event; the team behind it; the event’s theme, target audience, and purpose; any key features that make it unique for attendees/delegates.
  • Budget: Please specify the event budget and any creative uses of same. Show cost management and return on investment (ROI). Discuss any sponsorship and fundraising efforts.
  • Delivery and Execution: Describe the planning process, how content was created, and any challenges you overcame. Highlight the attendee experience. Discuss venue selection, logistics, and how your team managed event execution efficiently.
  • Achievements and Outcomes: Share attendance and participant satisfaction data, partnerships, and success stories. Include media coverage, testimonials, and any awards or recognitions received.
  • Innovation: Highlight innovative elements such as technology, engagement strategies, or session formats. Explain how these innovations improved the event and helped achieve its objectives.
  • Impact on Industry/Community: Discuss the broader impact on your industry or community, using data, case studies, and examples wherever possible. Include information about social responsibility and sustainability initiatives, and endorsements from stakeholders.
