Brisk Group has joined the Corporate Partnership Programme of the Association for Project Management (APM), gaining its consultants access to the chartered body's professional development resources and competence frameworks. Terms were not disclosed.

Brisk Group is a construction consultancy founded in 2016, delivering project, cost and construction management services from offices in London, Bucharest and Chisinau. It employs more than 80 professionals and has delivered over 700 projects spanning 3.2 million square metres of managed construction. Financial details are not publicly disclosed.

APM is the chartered membership organisation for the project profession, with more than 45,000 individual members and over 470 organisations in its corporate partnership programme. As an educational charity, it does not publish commercial financials.

Advisors: None mentioned.

The partnership reflects a structural mismatch between project delivery demand and certified capacity across UK construction rather than a one-off branding exercise.

The UK's Skills England 2026 report identifies construction and infrastructure as the country's largest growth area, needing 758,000 additional workers by 2035 against £725 billion committed to national infrastructure, according to Training ByteSize. Globally, only 47 per cent of projects are run by certified project managers, a gap that has persisted for years, as reported by The Business Dive.

For Brisk, chartered alignment signals credibility to clients and lenders as it expands from London into wider European and Asian markets. For APM, adding an internationally active consultancy extends its standard setting reach beyond its UK base.

The Project Management Institute separately forecasts a global shortfall of up to 30 million project professionals by 2035, underscoring why corporate partners increasingly seek chartered accreditation rather than informal training routes, per PMI.

As capital-intensive construction programmes multiply, alignment with a chartered standard is becoming a differentiator consultancies use to win mandates, not simply a professional development perk.
