The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Northern Ireland has named Paula McNulty Chart.PR, FCIPR as Chair of its regional committee for 2026, marking a new chapter for one of the region's most active professional membership bodies.
Business Eye reported that McNulty brings more than 25 years of experience working with UK-wide and global organisations, and currently serves as a director at full-service agency LK Communications.
A Chartered CIPR practitioner, CIPR Fellow and member of CIPR UK Council, McNulty holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Communication, Advertising and Marketing from Ulster University.
Commenting on her appointment, McNulty said: "I am incredibly honoured to take on the role of Chair at a time when the communications profession in Northern Ireland continues to evolve and grow. My priority is to ensure that the CIPR in Northern Ireland remains a progressive, inclusive and supportive community that equips members with the skills, confidence and professional standards needed to succeed in an ever-changing communications landscape."
She succeeds Samantha Livingstone Chart.PR, FCIPR, who led the committee through 2025, focusing on professional development, community engagement and member advocacy.
The CIPR Northern Ireland Group represents more than 250 public relations professionals across the region, from students and early-career practitioners to senior industry figures.
The committee delivers training, networking and CPD events, alongside strong links with CIPR-approved university courses, supporting the next generation of PR professionals across Northern Ireland.
McNulty will work alongside ten committee members as the group continues to champion professional standards and expand its regional membership base.
