The Irish Business & General Aviation Association (IBGAA) has officially joined the CLIMBING. FAST. campaign, a global advocacy and education initiative promoting the value and sustainability of business aviation. The announcement was made during IBGAA’s 2025 International Business Aviation Conference held in Kildare, Ireland.

CLIMBING. FAST. aims to inform policymakers about the broad contributions of business aviation, including job creation, economic development, support for humanitarian missions, and the advancement of sustainable aviation practices.

With IBGAA joining, the campaign now counts 16 partner organizations worldwide, including the British Business and General Aviation Association, the European Business Aviation Association, and the Canadian Business Aviation Association.

NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen welcomed the partnership, saying, “NBAA is delighted that IBGAA is joining us as a CLIMBING. FAST. partner as we collectively work to share the value and critical role of business aviation – now and in the future.”

Founded in 2020, IBGAA has focused on building a successful and sustainable future for business and general aviation in Ireland, supporting growth across the sector.

Josh Stewart, IBGAA’s Founding Chairman, said the partnership underscores the importance of a unified global voice: “We are excited to join CLIMBING. FAST. as partners. It is critical that we work together with one global voice to make clear business aviation’s leadership in sustainability, and as a key driver of economic growth and investment, here in Ireland and around the globe.”

The collaboration emphasizes sustainability, innovation, and global engagement, reinforcing Ireland’s role in shaping environmentally responsible and economically impactful aviation. By joining CLIMBING. FAST., IBGAA positions itself alongside international peers to promote policies, share best practices, and demonstrate the sector’s commitment to responsible growth and long-term value creation.
