Matrix AI Network, a leading provider of decentralised artificial intelligence and blockchain infrastructure, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Western China Research and Development Promotion Association. The Association is committed to regional development and industrial upgrading in Western China and serves as a critical facilitator for cross-border cooperation along the Belt and Road.
The partnership is designed to advance digitalisation, intelligent systems, and industrial upgrading across Western China and Belt and Road partner regions.
Both parties will focus on intelligent industry deployment, smart city systems, digital economy development, and international collaboration mechanisms.
Matrix will leverage its expertise in AI infrastructure, blockchain-based data systems, and technical architecture to develop deployable solutions and standards adaptable to multiple regions.
Owen Tao, CEO of Matrix AI Network, commented: “By aligning our technical architecture with the Association’s regional expertise, we are moving beyond one-off pilots to create sustainable, replicable models for the digital economy.”
A key component of the cooperation is the establishment of replicable intelligent development models. The aim is to go beyond one-off pilot projects and create frameworks that can scale across cities and industrial zones, supporting sectors such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, finance, and agriculture.
The agreement also prioritises enhanced digital governance. Both parties recognise that robust data infrastructure and interoperable systems are essential for modernising public services.
Through this collaboration, Matrix will contribute its AI-driven technical experience to create more resilient, transparent, and scalable governance systems for regional development.
The partnership highlights the growing role of technology associations in bridging industrial expertise, technical innovation, and cross-border collaboration.
By combining regional development knowledge with advanced digital infrastructure, the initiative seeks to accelerate smart city deployment and industrial transformation along the Belt and Road.
