Feargal Logan, solicitor and former Tyrone GAA manager, has been named ambassador of the Red Hand Business Club, a network connecting business leaders to support the growth of Gaelic games in Tyrone.
Logan, recently appointed chairman of P.A. Duffy and Co Solicitors following a merger with his previous firm, brings decades of leadership both on and off the field. As a player and manager, he guided Tyrone to multiple All-Ireland titles, including the 2021 Ulster and All-Ireland Senior championships and the 2015 Under 21 All-Ireland title.
The Red Hand Business Club aims to foster collaboration between the business community and the GAA, creating sustained investment opportunities for grassroots initiatives as well as elite-level development. Logan will represent the organisation’s mission, acting as a liaison between local businesses and sports clubs to strengthen strategic partnerships and promote long-term growth.
Martin Haughey, chair of Club Tyrone, said Logan’s appointment “reflects our continued commitment to building strong links between the GAA and the business community.” He highlighted Logan’s blend of sporting achievement and business expertise as key to driving this initiative forward.
Logan emphasised the value of business support for local sports, noting that investment and collaboration can enhance the experience and performance of players while benefiting wider communities. He stated that his role will focus on bringing members together to build “something special for the future of Gaelic games in our county.”
