Telefónica Tech UK&I has launched its Security Edge service in the UK and Ireland, powered by Netskope technology. The service provides enterprises with AI-driven, fully managed security solutions that enable secure access to applications and data from anywhere, supporting cloud-native and hybrid IT architectures.

WebWire reported that the service leverages Netskope One platform technologies, combining critical security, networking, and analytics capabilities. By applying zero-trust principles and AI innovations, the platform optimises access, protects sensitive data, prevents cyber threats, and ensures reliable performance for remote and hybrid work environments.

Ed Tucker, cyber security practice director at Telefónica Tech UK&I, said: “The Security Edge services enables us to assist customers by optimising their IT performance through frictionless collaboration; unlock the power of data; and ensure they put in place world-class cyber security solutions. By offering Netskope One as a managed service we are even better placed to help in all these goals.”

Delivered from Telefónica Tech’s Security Operation Centres (SOCs), the service provides expert administration, support, and incident response, ensuring organisations maintain robust security postures while undergoing digital transformation.

Colette Kitterhing, Netskope vice president UKI, added: “Working with Telefónica Tech UK&I to offer the Netskope One platform as a managed service, we are able to support British and Irish businesses to avoid the traditional trade-offs between security and performance.”

The launch highlights the role of professional associations and institutional partnerships in providing standardised, scalable cybersecurity frameworks.

By integrating advanced technologies and managed services, Telefónica Tech and Netskope help organisations maintain operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and secure digital ecosystems across sectors.
