The Dhanbad Bar Association witnessed a dramatic shift in leadership as senior advocate Radheshyam Goswami was elected president, defeating incumbent Amrendra Kumar Sahay by a narrow margin of 49 votes. 

Goswami secured 890 votes against Sahay's 841. While the president's post saw change, the general secretary's chair remained firmly with Jitendra Kumar, who scripted history by winning the post for the third consecutive time. Jitendra polled 596 votes, comfortably defeating rival Videsh Dan, who garnered 441 votes. His victory sealed a hat-trick and reaffirmed his stronghold within the association.
