HomeServe, a leading provider of home repair solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), the premier organisation for local government leadership and management professionals. Effective from 1st March 2026, the collaboration designates HomeServe as a top-tier Strategic Partner, enabling the company to provide resources and expertise directly to ICMA's extensive network of city and county managers.

Business Wire reported that the partnership will focus on helping local government leaders address critical infrastructure challenges and provide residents with affordable, reliable solutions for emergency repairs.

Through the collaboration, HomeServe will work with ICMA members to educate them on establishing service line programmes protecting homeowners from the high cost of unexpected repairs to water and sewer lines on their property. The partnership addresses the "last mile" of pipes connecting homes to municipal systems.

Tom Rusin, chief executive officer of HomeServe North America, said: "We are honored to partner with ICMA, an organisation that shares our decades long commitment to supporting local government and fostering resilient communities. City and county managers are on the front lines of service delivery and infrastructure management. Through this alliance, we are excited to empower these dedicated professionals with the tools and resources they need to strengthen community infrastructure, protect their residents, and provide them with greater peace of mind."

ICMA's Strategic Partnership Programme connects local government decision-makers with trusted organisations contributing to operational excellence. Through the partnership, HomeServe will work directly with ICMA's membership of more than 14,000 US and Canadian city and county management professionals.

The collaboration demonstrates how professional associations leverage corporate partnerships to deliver member value through technical expertise, educational resources, and practical solutions addressing sector-specific challenges.
