The Asian Development Bank has called for a surge in science, tech, and innovation investment to power Southeast Asia’s sustainable future. ADB President Masato Kanda outlined bold targets, including $10bn for the ASEAN Power Grid and $40bn for food system transformation, backed by a focus on smart cities and cross-border collaboration. With private sector partnerships and R&D at the forefront, ASEAN's innovation agenda is shaping up to be a strategic growth engine.
