Ireland is set to become an associate member of CERN this October, unlocking a new era of scientific, academic and commercial opportunity. With access to world-class research, procurement, and collaboration, Irish citizens can now work at CERN, academics can lead groundbreaking projects, and businesses can compete for high-value contracts. 

Backed by a €1.9m annual commitment, the move positions Ireland at the heart of Europe’s scientific infrastructure, strengthening ties in physics, engineering, and high-tech innovation.
