Teleperformance has joined forces with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) to launch the TP Emerging Leaders Development Program (TELDP), a flagship initiative designed to strengthen its leadership bench and cultivate future-ready executives.
The collaboration, formalised through a memorandum of agreement, underscores a growing alignment between industry and academia in preparing professionals for the evolving demands of digital business services. Through TELDP, high-performing TP employees will undergo leadership training and mentoring led by AIM’s faculty, focusing on resilience, innovation, and people-centric management.
Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of Teleperformance Philippines, described the programme as both a professional development initiative and an investment in the wider IT-BPM sector. “By giving TP talents leadership training and a clear-cut L&D pathway, not only are we investing in their future; but also strengthening the country’s IT-BPM industry,” he said.
AIM’s Professor Alberto Mateo Jr., Head of the School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning, emphasised the importance of collaboration in shaping leaders capable of managing fast-changing work environments. The programme will combine structured coursework, experiential learning, and mentorship to equip emerging leaders with the agility and strategic mindset needed in the global market.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to cultivating leadership talent that can sustain organisational growth while supporting the Philippines’ competitiveness in digital outsourcing and business transformation.
